The Game is Afoot!Just got back from Sherlock Holmes. Well sir. That was good. But I'm a sucker for Robert Downey Jr. I liked the dynamic
between Holmes and Watson in this one. You got that sense of best friends but you also got the sense that these were two very
different men who had managed to forge a friendship. I loved that Sherlock was portrayed with flaws and weaknesses. He depends
on Watson, not to be the 'by Jove, Holmes, that's amazing!' rubbish that was in other movies. Sherlock has this sort of brilliant
poet/beautiful mind personality and depends on Watson for distraction before the grand intellect becomes madness. Holmes'
mind just spins at all times, whether he's working or not. If its on a case, it's productive, if not then insanity sets
in.
I must admit, I know about the books, but have never sat down and read them...at least that
I can remember. There may have been an attempt or two in fourth grade that went down in flames but nothing that will be spoken
of here. I do love the Victorian era London for some reason. I think it was that the science of the time was more accessible
to me than current day. Also, I will admit to being a girl here, the clothes were pretty.
I tried hard
not to give away any plot points, I just hope I didn't bury it totally. I am sort of like Holmes in the fact that I have
a hard time sitting through movies in the theatre. I have ADHD tendencies and if I don't distract myself at some
point in the movie, I'll fidget beyond belief, get up and miss parts and I payed to see the damned thing. Ah well. If you
like mysteries, go see Sherlock Holmes, although it is more of a Howdoneit, rather than a Whodoneit. But the clues are all
there. Happy Holidays...

Christmas Day!!!!I am here, watching my ipod movie on the television (Ah the wonders of modern technology...thank god for my brother, curmudgeon
that he can be when you ask him a question), whilst typing on my NEW NETBOOK!!!! It's red and needs a sticker or two to differentiate
it from everyone else's, but it is beautiful and MINE ;) Not that I'm materialistic or anything. I usually just ask for candles
and smelly bath stuffs for Christmas. But WOW this Christmas my family has really outdone themselves.
I hope your
Christmas has been happy and you got to see all your family that you miss. If you don't celebrate Christmas, Happy Holidays!
Don't celebrate at all? Have a wonderful day!
I lost a few files on the way here, but I have back ups. They're
just not with me. So I will be working on Fireflies, the nano that I just completed in November. Raya will just have to wait
a few weeks more. Darn it. The one down to my day was that jump drive malfunction. Sugar foot.
But anyways, have
a wonderful day!!!!! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

On the Eve of Christmas EveRemember when you were a kid and you couldn't wait for it to be Christmas? I'm there. I am so there. I can't wait to open
presents. I can't wait for my parents to open their presents. My brother's gift is so gonna rock...I hope.
I know,
I know, Christmas is about religion and peace on Earth and all that.
Another cool thing that is happening in my
town is that there is an HBO series that is filming either their pilot or some of the actual series. Call Me Fitz is just
down the road from where my parents live. I am kinda psyched that this is happening here. So when (read if) anyone asks where
I am from, I can say..."Have you ever seen 'Call Me Fitz'? That's where I am from."

30 second updateOkay, I suck at blogging, we all know this. Won Nano. This means I have yet another novel languishing in need-to-edit mode.
I moved...back to the North. But I'm home now, in Nova Scotia. Visiting my family. God I missed this. Family and this place.
I know I'll probably never stay. I also know that I should never say never. What with my life the way it is. I don't plan
for long. It never works out the way I plan for it anyway.
I wish everyone out there who reads this a happy and
safe holiday.
